Relais Il Furioso for eco-sustainable tourism
We are proud to have the chance to share in our approach to caring for the environment with you.
Our small contribution includes the following:
- most of our breakfast products are organic and locally sourced,
- the toiletries you will find in your room are made using natural, organic ingredients,
- we only use eco-friendly products with low environmental impact for cleaning and for washing,
- all our illumination uses LED bulbs.
There are a few simple things you can do to help us:
- switch off the air conditioning when the windows in your room are open,
- turn off the lights in your room when you go out,
- request clean towels when necessary: leave used towels on the floor if you wish us to provide new ones, or on the towel rack if they can be used again,
- make a difference! In all common areas you'll find recycling bins for paper, plastic and glass.
Information and Facilities
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room from 8:30am to 10:00am, but please speak to us if you need to organise for another time.
Check-out is by 10:30am.
Finally, please remember that there is no smoking in any part of the building. In the external area, please use the ashtrays provided.
Dinner under the stars
We have sought the perfect blend of tradition and modernity also in our cuisine, which is simple but never banal.
Careful selection of raw materials, local and seasonal products are the basis of our menu that changes every day to make you taste the traditional flavours not only of Umbria but of all Italian food.
The restaurant is open for our guests only, so we kindly ask you to reserve by 11:00am on the same day.

Relais Il Furioso is the ideal base for exploring Umbria, with its many medieval villages, extraordinary wines and natural beauties.
Among our favourite town we suggest you to visit Todi, Orvieto, Spello, Montefalco and, of course, Monte Castello di Vibio, an ancient medieval fortress listed in the “Borghi più belli d’Italia” association (the most beautiful villages in Italy). Monte Castello di Vibio is home to the smallest Italian-style theatre in the world, the Teatro della Concordia, which certainly worth a visit.
For nature lovers, there is horse-riding, rafting, walking and hiking amid the beautiful local landscapes.
